WSET 1, a beginners course
WSET Level 1 Award in Wine gives a basic introduction to wine followed by some food & wine pairing. No previous wine knowledge required!

WSET 2, an intermediate course
WSET Level 2 Award in Wines & Spirits provides an all-around wine knowledge and an internationally recognised qualification. This qualification, taught in English, is perfect for enologists, sommelier and professionals working in the wine industry and hospitality business, and very suitable for wine enthusiasts.
WSET Level 2 course focuses on key grape varieties, wine regions of the world and the basics of spirits production. Advanced preparation with course text is required. This qualification also helps students to develop their “Wine English” communication skills, vital for professionals working with international markets.

To gain the qualification students need to successfully pass a multiple-choice paper of 50 questions. Successful students will receive an official certificate and a lapel pin.
Students should enrol early to receive the course materials and prepare themselves in advanced for the course. We will taste around 45 premium wines, many of which unavailable in Italy.
